Would you like to serve your fellow Engineering freshmen, serve your community, work in a team environment to further develop your skills as an Engineer, all while earning some summer pay?

Job description:

Each project will be assigned a BOOST peer mentor to guide the BOOST participants in their discussions, teamwork, and ultimately delivering a finished product that is of help to the community partner.  Each BOOST mentor will also serve as a liaison between the project team and the faculty mentor, providing feedback and insight into how the projects are progressing. Finally, BOOST mentors can offer their own engineering skills and know-how to help with running engineering tools workshops and training the BOOST participants, alongside the faculty mentors.  We recruit 3 students who meet the following criteria to serve as a BOOST mentor.  In addition to the engineering and leadership experience gained, BOOST mentors will be compensated monetarily for their work.  Unfortunately, the exact amount depends on a funding decision that we will not know about until mid-Spring.
